How to read our product listings, and what to expect when your furniture arrives.
Descriptions and specifications
We describe every product as accurately as we can, using the specifications supplied to us by the manufacturer or supplier. Dimensions are given as supplied and small manufacturing tolerances are normal. If a detail matters to your room, measure the space and ask us before ordering — we would rather answer a question than process a return.
Images
Product photographs are illustrative. Styling props, plants and accessories shown in a photograph are not included unless the description says so. Colour reproduction varies between screens, and natural materials such as wood vary in grain and shade between batches, so slight variation from the photograph is normal and is not a fault.
Assembly
Many items are supplied flat-packed and require assembly. Where assembly is required it is stated on the product page and instructions are supplied with the item. Please:
- Check all parts against the parts list before starting.
- Assemble on a soft, clean surface to avoid scratching panels.
- Follow the sequence in the instructions — most damage we see comes from steps taken out of order.
- Secure tall or wall-mounted items to the wall where fixings are supplied.
If a part is missing or damaged, contact us before continuing with assembly. Items damaged during incorrect assembly, or partially assembled items, may not be returnable.
Weight limits and intended use
Where a weight limit is stated for a shelf, drawer or surface, please observe it. Our products are intended for normal domestic indoor use unless the product page states otherwise, and are not intended for outdoor or commercial use.
Materials
Materials are listed on the product page. Wood-effect finishes, engineered wood and solid timber are described as what they are; where a product combines materials, the description says which parts are which.
Availability
Stock shown on the product page reflects our supplier's position at the time of loading. If an item becomes unavailable after you have ordered, we will contact you and offer an alternative or a full refund.
